Windows sometime doesnt work! Anyone got the same probs?

My window sometimes doesnt want to go up for some odd reason. I have to sometimes play with the button to get it up. And sometimes it doesnt go all the way up so I have to help it. Anyone have any suggestoins what it might be? Anyone with the same problems? Let me know. Thanks

Your window might be out of track or your power window motor could be worn out. The motor is a pain to get to.... My Eclipse does the same thing

My window used to do that bad. All of a sudden one day I cracked the window and went inside, came back out later to find it doesnt work anymore. Turned out to be I have a bad switch relay in the driver side door, which will also cause the passenger side switch to not work on its own. My motor is good if it gets the signal, but the switch just went bad over time. It would go up slowly with the need of help, go up and stop, or take several clicks of the button to get it to move.

leave it to defiant to notice "sexual innuendos" on a performance forum.

btw mine sometimes doesnt want to go up either(the window asshat) and it seems its getting caught up on something. i think when they put the car back together the door must be misaligned in some way but it looks straight when its on the body. if i go to roll all 4 up at once(converti i have them little rear ones) the pass window will stop half way, but if i just roll up the pass alone it goes fine but tries to get caught on something but powers through.

Isn't there a good window repair article on DSMtalk? I don't remember if it addresses sticking issues, but it's gotta be in your tracks or the lifter mech.
