blue lens does nothing for the light out put its dependent on the bulbs.

go to bulb aisle
look in little book with all the car makes and look up your own , with year and model
look on the little boxes an pick up two with the matching numbers
go to register and pay with method of payment of your choice , shoplifting not recommended

SilverStars don't work that well in projectors IMO, at least in mine(first generation angel eyes). I get better light output with plain $5 H3 bulbs from Advance Auto Parts.

I swear, the Silver Stars dont look as bright as they say or seem to. I have a pair on my low beams and they are :thumbdown I have 20 dollar foglights and they are way brighter. I believe my stocker bulbs were better. The reason i tdont have them on is i dont like that dull orange look.

I've had e-bay special bulbs in all three for 2 years. All 3 sets for $25, they're white ad extremly bright, not rice blue, and not a single one has burned out on me or melted the housing or anything wierd. It's the only thing I've got from ebay besides my bov that hasn't turned into a nightmare.

A friend has the SilverStars in 99 GSX with stock headlights and they are VERY bright, great light output, but I have them in my projectors right now and they are not all that great, like I said - regular $5 bulbs put out more light.

Wow, thats odd. I love my Silverstars! Brightest light I have dealt with thus far.

This may be a touch off topic but i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on euro style bulbs, i thinks thats the best way to put it, you know the style bulbs that look almost like HID (audi and BMWish) i was surfing extreme lights web site any one have any advice on some nice plasma blue style bulbs?

good luck with visibility is all I can say,

the cooler You think they look, The worse they are for visibility. stick with silverstars or do an HID swap. you get what you pay for.

I had a trucker cut his lights off on the way back from NOPI... then he swerved in on my ass, high beaming. So I dropped back and flashed my highs at him. Then he and other truckers basically tried to run me off the road, etc. I had to haul past every trucker I saw after that happened. Scary shit. That's the only reason I'd say silverstars suck. I have a couple cars flash at me everytime I drive. They're pretty bright.

Properly-adjusted lights won't glare anyone, even when the bulbs are hotted-up. If you're getting flashed, you need to lower the beams just a bit.

Isn't that what the built in levels are for? Assuming the ground is level while adjusting them...

Just because you are faster than their car, its no good when they radio ahead to their buddies on the road.

phillips makes decent bulbs too. id recomend either silverstar's or phillips, my friend has phillips true vision or somtin along them lines, in his projectors, BRIGHT as hell. but not blinding cuz he aimed his headlights correctly

So you are basing the quality of the bulbs on the fact that you can piss off truckers? Bright or not, you pissed off the wrong guy.

Ive had it happen before where they boxed me in but they were just ####ing around. scary scary scary.

I was headed home on the interstate, and there is a large curved overpass. The overpass starts as two lanes, then merges into one by the middle. There's a very well known speed trap at the very end of the overpass, as people like to hot rod around it and feel like race car drivers.

Anyway, so this semi is directly behind me in the right lane, has to merge behind me. He gets like 1 foot away from my back back bumper and proceedes to turn on his brights! I was like wtf? i haven't dont anything wrong. I was going 60 in 55, def not going fast but its not worth getting a ticket, especially when I already get pulled over for doing nothing! (you all know what its like, sleek car = being pulled over for diddly shiet). So, we are back on the 4 lane interstate, and he zooms past me, gives me the double finger (impressive considering he's driving a semi and going like 85), and jerks in front of me making me slam on my breaks.

Super. I was very mad at this point, I usually don't handle road rage very well at all... like i get very very pissed. However, after having a semi almost run me over the past mile, I was scared as hell! He did have a "Safe Driving, Call 1-800) whatever. I called it, bitched for about 10 minutes, but they basically told me there they weren't going t odo anything becuase it wasn't "thier" driver (the trailer's), it had been i dont know what the term is... like "outsourced" for lack of a better term.

Anyway, Semi's are hella scary, i'm not fast and furious enough to go under yet! And my green neons are non existant....
