every kit..they never fit?

Does anyone know exactly why every body kit I have ever found for a 1g dsm is usually made for a 92-94 eclipse but they say the front bumper will fit and the back bumper needs minor mods to fit the tailights on a 90-91 talon but then say the sideskirts won't fit? Has anyone ever seen a 91 talon with sideskirts that fit? Or has anyone ever modified the sides from the kits for 92-94's to fit there 91 talon? If not could anyone tell me why this isn't possible? I want a kit but i'm not only gonna get the front and back?

I am in the same boat as you man.
I have been wondering the exact same thing, because I have been looking for a kit for my car exact same as yours.
I looked at my car and figured out the difference in the back end.
If you look closely that black strip below ur taillights is connected to the bumper, and if u look at a 92 eclipse or talon the black strip is located furthere up between the tail lights, and i was told by one sight that u need a tail light conversion kit, or different tail lights.
But i have been unable to find out why the side skirts won't work

I was told by andy's autosport that it is easier and cheaper to cut the back bumper to fit then it is to do a taillight conversion unless you have some connections. But if you find anyhting out about the sides or anyhtign let me know..thanks

Yeah I went to that site before if you look to the left of where they have the kit name and all it says it won't fit the tsi model
