would pep boys sell this stuff? i know we have a paint shop or something around here that my dad said sells it but i dont know where

also if i put a few clear coats on top of it to seal it how long will the paint last?

SEM vinyl paint is what i used. check locally at a place that sells auto paint, they may have it. i know they dont sell it at pepboys or autozone or places like that. there is duplicolor which people have used that they do sell there and even at walmart. i deciced to go with SEM because i heard such good things about it and i am very happy with it. i used clear and its been holding up great for 6 months now. PM me for a website if you cant find it locally.

A friend of mine went to the local paint shop and bought paint that matched his car and another color he liked. What he did was primer the peice and then wet sand and he continued this until the surface was smooth. He then added diamondize to the paint and painted the peice and then added a few layers of clear cost to the peice and it looks like a professional job. With the peices that were just like plastic he just primered and painted without all that sanding there nice too. I don't suggest doing this on a peice that has a lot of give in it though cuz it will just crack in due time
