Try and get a urethane one from Andys Autosport Its better to pay more for urethane than have fiberglass thats cheap and will crack hella easy. :thumb:

except the following -
if urethane kit doesnt fit - your screwed pretty much, its hard to make fit
if fiberglass kit doesnt fit right - trim/cut/reglass/make it fit. not hard and pretty cheap
if urethane cracks - go buy a new one
if fiberglass cracks -- reglass that spot, good as new (unless you lose a corner or side or something...then not as easy.

Sure urethane has its advantages, but surely fiberglass is easier to work with if a problem would arise

Thanks I than im back to were i started go with urethane or fiberglass ??? :dsm:

i have a fiberglass kit on my 1g and the car is lowered as low as i could get it to go. the front bumper sits about 2 inches off the ground. besides wearing away the bottom, which i just refill with glass once in a while, i have never broken the kit and the roads/my driveway are pretty rough.
i would go with fiberglass because of how easy it is to work with, and fix. but many people will disagree. just speaking from my experience

I've had both, and personally, I will never buy a front bumper that is fiberglass again. Unless the car is stock height (but you still have to be very careful), or a show-only car, there is too much of a chance that you'll end up cracking it (I sure did!). I know there are people out there with 'glass kits that have never had a problem, but why take the chance?

Get urethane, you won't regret it.
