Blackouts...

Well, the one manufacturer of blackouts that I know of is GTS, and they don't make blackouts for the rear of 1st gen. cars...

Would it be a safe bet to just lay a layer of window tint over the rear taillights, and then get the front blackout pieces, or no?

Would it be safe to walk across the road? any road? Depends on whether you look both ways before crossing and whether the road was meant to be crossed etc. doesn't it? Obviously an interstate highway isn't safe to cross.

Who knows if your tinted lights would be safe. How dark is the tint? Do the cops you in area care? Do drivers around you pay attention to your taillights regardless of whether they are tinted or not? Do your taillights work? Doesn't your state's drivers manual dictate that taillights have to be visible from a certain distance?
