Hood fit

alright i bought a new stock hood, because mine was rusted and smashed when i got the car. The new hood fits in now that it's been adjusted, but i couldn't slavage any of the rubber feet things or any other accesories from the hood that it rests on. do i need these, or can i get by with out them. I don't want my hood to rattle or anything i haven't driven it yet so i don't know.

you need them. it keeps the hood positioned right and keeps it from rattling..
