The low beams are H3s, the highs are H1s. Also, the Silverstars don't seem to work well in projectors, $5 H3 bulbs from Advance Auto put out more light.

just a question can u put the like $400 hid lights into the halo projector lights? cause I should be getting both soon enough  o and do the halo projectors come with the ring ( or the circle) that lights up in the lights?

From what i read u can put the hid lights on.You can because of the projector lense, it doenst scatter the light around like if you were to put it on a regular headlight.

kinda off subject but i love Spidey's sig photo :thumb: ooo thanks man for info I will see what I can do :dsm:

You can if you get the right bulb. But keep in mind, your projectors were not designed for HID light so they wont have a cutt off point like Audi, BMW or Lexus HID's which are designed for it. So you will have more light than needed. You wont scatter light everywhere like HID's on OEM headlights, but you will still attract alot of attention and blind others. :thumb:

i wish i was smart enough to figure lights, or electrical things in genereal out....anyone wanna help? i was wanting my lites to look like halogens, i do like those halos as well

Do you have projectors? They newer generation ones have a very distinct cut-off and are definately aimable as to not blind people. It seems like they were made for HIDs IMO. For those wondering, you'd just need to get an H3 kit(depending on which gen projectors you have obviously, but most of the newer ones are H3 for low beam).

Wondering how you wired those. Just bought the exact halos you got. Looked and the plugs and they do not connect. Let me know thanks! :dsm:

If ur asking me,yes they are plug and play except for the halo, just need to wire it to the parking lights.

sweet ass, you lucky 2gs and all your lighting options, all look very pimp.

heres my boring 1g lights

youre asking where i ran the halo wires to?

i ran them to the same place i run everything that comes on with the parking lights/headlights. i ran them to the cigarette lighter bulb. i took the bulb part off and the wires just go to my guages and halos, or anything else that i need to turn on with the headlights.

i wasnt expecting the halos to work with the parking lights, that was just a bonus. i love it though, i usually park with just the parking lights on and the neons, and within 10 minutes i have a swarm of ricers and low ryders giving me "Mad Tyte Props Yo!!!111"

and 4geze theres nothing wrong with having almost no exterior aftermarket for the 1g. it would look stupid if anyone did the mods us 2gers do to our cars on a 1g. i love how your heads look, it looks so dam clean. if i had a 1g it would look as clean and stock as possible(except for maybe rims and drop). i wish i knew about 1g's before i got my car, i thought eclipses went from 95 up, or else i prolly wouldve bought one around her for 3g's and spent the other 5g's on mods, rather than spend 8 on just the car.

The housing is H4, soi unlike the stock headlights I remove the bulb from the back and not the whole thing. Im not exacty surew what bulb is in their. At night there just like H.I.D's

Is there anyway to get the left part of the light to light up along with the halo ring? or am i just being noobish? Also are the projector beams for when you use high beams or are they supposed to be on for regular lights?

the bulb with your halo ring is the low beam. the bulb furthest away from the turn signal is the high beam. when u have low beams on, just the bulb inside the halo ring is on. when you turn on your high beams, both bulbs are on

yes this is the only drawback of these halos. with the lowbeams on, you cant see the halos, with the highs on, you cant see them either. they shouldve put the halos aroung the high beams, that way when the lows are on, the halos are around the other light, like the real bmw's halos are. oh well.
