It's been sitting in my garage for awhile just waiting on headlights. Last weekend I finallly finished sanding it down, finished painting it during the week, and got it put on today. The bumper is in really poor shape so it's just gonna be on there temporarily till I can get a new one when I get ready to have the whole car repainted. The paint doesn't quite match up, but I think it came out fairly well for a spray can paint job. I just REALLY got sick on the 2ga frontend. Lemme know what you guys think. Btw, if you don't like it...I already know how bad it really is, you should see how jacked up it is up close.

Looks great man, sooo much better then the 95-96 bumber :thumb: Although picture #3 looks like theres a slight color difference between your fender and the bumper..

Yea it does look slightly different in pic 3, but looks awesome tho. :thumb:

Yea, I for the most part was pleased with it. You can't really notice the color difference from a glance. But the paint I used was just slightly darker. The reason pic no.3 is so apparent is because the sun was shining from the same direction I was taking the pic. Thanks for the compliments, guys.

do all the sanding of it yourself and take it to a body shop. It probably wont cost more than......140 bux to have it painted. Well thats what i was quoted neways, im sure it varys from shop to shop.

back on topic....the bumper looks GREAT in pic 3 good job though for a spray can job :thumb:

My only question is don't they need to keep your car at least a day to kind of match and fade the paint to match the rest of the car?

The shop didn't when they painted my bumper.

I just went to Pep-Boys and bought the "Plasti-kote" pn: 5431 Aztek Red. It was the closest match that I could conveniently find in spray can. They pretty much had all the spray colors except for the Saronno Red.
