Hey everyone, i'd like your thoughts on 18" wheels!

Also I've got a few questions:
1. What size tires should I get with a stock suspension? will there be any rubbing?
2. What size tires should I get with about a 1.5-2.0" drop (probably pro-kit) and will there be any rubbing?
3. Will my car drive any slower, how will the ride be?
4. What tires work best for overall use, as well as in snowy/rainy conditions? (besides snow tires... duh!)

any help is greatly appreciated!:thumb:

1. if you are getting 18's than make sure the sidewall is like a 30-40 or something like that...try to get the smallest side wall you can get..

2. guess and check? don't know about that one...

3. your car will have more drag with 18's for many reasons...and also your acceleration could be slower depending on the overall diameter...

4. all year/all purpose tires, michilen i hear makes great ones that they tested on vettes up here in minnesota all year round...

my personal thought on 18's is that they look goofy...the car is too small to have those big of wheels on it...i would personally go with 17's keeping the same diameter as stock and then lower it with a nopii lowering kit (only ever seen them in a aftermarket store) because you can adjust the drop...just my two cents...
