My hood and roof met- not a pretty picture

The hood on my DSM flew up and smashed my windshield and hood a few months ago and left my roof looking like crumpled paper- Has this happened to too many other people out there? If so- I'm just wondering what you guys would recommend regarding getting it all fixed up. Bondo? Getting a new piece of sheet tacked on? Any other possible recommendations?

i have heard of it happening on dsms, though i have no experience with one. I have worked on another car that had this problem happen. we cut the old roof out and rewelded a new one in its place, then had a new windshield put in.

it sucks when stuff like that happens. good luck

Especially since it happened within the first day of me having the car actually drivable!

I already put a new windshield in it....

Anybody have any clue how much it would cost to put in a new piece of metal?
