Hey I remember reading awhile back about someone making a three peice kit that would anable you to do a supra til light conversion. Just wondering if anyone remembers what I am talking about or knows of such a thing....or am I nuts...

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't think I know of a car that I like better completely stock.

Supra Tails look hella good...on just that... A SUPRA. The kit doesn't match up the Supra lights very well in my opinion.

I think stock Talon Tails with the center matching the vehicles color and the lettering a different color is the BEST DSM tails.

no, there isnt anything you can buy that is a complete conversion. The easiest thing would be to take the stock tails and cut them to fit the supras.

DON"T DO IT. Unless youre planning on doing it the correct way, don't bother. It will just look like eclipse tail lights with supra tail lights shoved into them, which is exactly what it would be. It also kinda gives people who did the conversion the right way, a kick in the balls, its bastardizing the conversion. If youre going to do it, do it the clean molded way, not the cheap shitty way.

i disagree, if you like it go for it, you can always go back to oem that way also. Whats wrong with this conversion? it isnt molded in...

Bull,..... the 3 pice like the pic below was harder for me than just molding them in. If it was easier it would have been done already. When you mold in supra tails you mount then and then its freeform from there. But, when you are making a direct replacement everything has to match up look stock and be removable. If i get rearended all i got to do is get a set of oem tails and a new rear bumper, paint the bumper and I'm dome. Now if you get reared with the molded style well........... new bumper , new tails , reglass, and paint from the doors back.

Also I believe in customizing cars , butb in a way where you still keep stock/oem characteristics. Like after markit bodykits, I am planning on adding to my oem font bumper and sideskirts. Rather than buying a kit where everyone else can or already has one. So basically I want a one of..... and I want everyone to know that its an eclipse.... , an eclipse with custom supra tails.

That purple Eclipse...Talon...whatever...looks horrible with those Supra tails. The block that holds the tails is popping out and everything...it looks just plain stupid. You have a GSX, why waste your money on Supra tails when you can put that money to go fast parts and make Supras envy YOU.

is that stratus green and lighter shade of green now? im from 757 as well might have seen it around the way before. ok but yeah supra taillights not too sure dont feel they go well with lines of car but im into car customizing as well i would get 350Z taillights and turn them sideways in the same way as the oem and have the middle painted up. but not too sure about that need somebody else to take risks before me

My 300zx used to have supra tails in it, until i totaled it. I still have the lights tho, and they're in perfect condition if anyone wants them.

what do you do to a stratus to make it fast??? its the 2.7L V-6 right. i am under the impression that its the shittiest engine in existance. those things were designed all wrong, they fill up with sludge and blow metal pieces through the oil... chysler won't do a damn thing about it either, good thing they stand behind their products... :thumbdown

I think that those purple supra tails look good on the eclipse.. Just bolt-on supra tails would be awesome, and would even make me want to buy an eclipse rear bumper for them, i really like them.. The body kit however is dumb.. I hate kits, they are worthless especially on a daily driven car. Just get beat the hell up and such.


But bolt on supra taillights would be sweet, i like the look of them.
