Ok first I must say the hump on the hood. I don't mind it at all, even though many people think there's a dent in the hood, i think they have a dent in there head personaly.

Anyone ever think or want to put a hood scoop on? I do, I want to put one right in the middle but it don't look to good with that hump so i came up with a couple idea's.

1. I'm going to make a dummy hump (just a mold of the hump, made of fiberglass or plastic) and attatch it to the other side of the hood then get a middle hood scoop installed.

2. Turn the hump into a scoop and copy that mold and attatch that to the other side. The drive side scoop could used for cooling the motor and the other one could connect to the air filter.

I'll work with paint shop pro to show you what i'm talking about. Tell me what you guys think though?

come to think about it...nevermind...the back of a 2g already looks like a butt/ghetto booty....you'll just be adding another pair of cheeks if you do the front as well...

however the two hump/breast idea does look good on a 2G here's a link:

of course i'm more hypnotized by the crazy paint this guy has than the hood mod.

some people buy it for function not form.

yeah thank you for pointing that out wiseman...i understand what it's for...

again it's the age old question on how one wants to run the 1/4 mile.

-all show
-all go

you can have the best of both worlds of course...but having that double butt effect with a 2g is not a good start.

you want something like this i believe.

Hey guys,
I like the pics of the double hump second gens (orange and bronze). But what about a cowl hood and get rid of the hump all together. I saw a cowl hood for a civic, it looked pretty good and had a place to put gauges on the back. What do you guys think?
