predator hoods and how they fit..

i just bought a predator hood and a few moments ago my friend told me that he knows people that say these hoods don't fit. does anyone have any experience with these hoods?

I've been thinking about getting that hood, but I don't know how well it would look just with the 97-99 stock bumpers. How much did it cost you and what site do you get it off of?

ive heard that you should do some painting in your engine compartment because all the holes let a lot of water in and things start rusting after a year or so.. So im going to dress up my engine very well.

man siueclipse, you've been working on that car for a long time...how much longer will it take in install all the mods?!?

They will fit but it takes some work and is not a direct bolt on. There is a guy with a Talon Tsi around where I live that made one fit on his car. I believe you have to remove the timing belt cover and modify the hood a little.

well, my hood and mirrors should be here next week. On Monday the 14th the car goes into the shop for all the pieces to be put on and full paint job. Thats going to take two weeks. So the body of the car will be done in about 3 weeks

The engine work will come next with a hahn stage III in december

Took some work but I got it to fit on my Talon Tsi AWD. The latch needed some modding and my AC lines hit so I took some off there. A good way to do this is to use clay to check clearance. I also have my belt cover off. Let me know what you think.

My baby doesnt see the bad weather....when I wash it, the manifold sizzles a bit, but thats about it. Its in the garage most of the time. and my CRX is the one that puts up with mother nature
