ok i havea question... when u go to fiber glass the interior... do u just fiber glass over the top visible portions of the pieces or the whole thing... cause if u fiber glass the little tabs won't they be stiff now and now click into place and stuff.... and the leather looking crap on the 1g.... should i pull that off to fiberglass it... cause if i do it'll loose shape and i won't be able to get it back in shap nad in place to mount it... thanx guys... :thumb:

the glass will not stick to the vinyl you have to remove it.

as far as the door handle goes i dont believe you can glass it ur kinda stuck thier. i never used vinly dye so i cant help you out there.

Edit: you should start off with these:

Bondo-Glass Filler
Fiberglass Jelly
Fiberglass Resin
Lightweight Body Fill
Fiberglass Cloth

on the vinyl peices, you will need to rip off the vinyl and padding. Then glass like normal over the frame.

If you want to fiberglass over a plastic peice, then just clean it really well and glass normally over it.

You dont need to fiberglass the clips and stuff, only the parts that show. Be sure to test fit it before you prime and paint it. That way you will be able to cover any areas that arent covered or grind any excess off.
