Hey all...Just bought a '96 Eclipse GS-T Spyder and it showed up (after two weeks being transported) today! This is actually mi wife's 4th 2G Eclipse. We went from a '95 White RS to a '96 Barcelona Red Pearl GS. a Silver 98 GS and now a '96 Barcelona Red Pearl GS-T Spyder.. :thumb:

I am having a problem with the audio. The Infinity systems sounds pretty decent, but whenever I change stations, there is a loud pop/tump that comes from the speaker in the driver's door. You can also hear it pop when you turn the key and the radio is already on. I don't think it's the speaker since it sounds just fine when it is playing. I don't think it's the amp since everything sounds good, and no problems when the CD player is on. I just think that the radio portion o the HU is fried. Is this a common problem with the Infinity system? I was going to get a new system installed tomorrow since the factory HU is so darned expensive to replace anyways. I can just get a better HU for a lower price.

Any ideas?
