I've searched around and haven't found a good answer to this question yet.
I recently picked up a carbon fiber hood and a set of Sparco Hood pins to attach it. The threaded pins that go into the frame of the car are so long that they'll go into the headlights if I put them towards the corner of the hood. How did those of you with Sparco hood pins positioned towards the outside solve this problem? Did you cut the pins in half? I'm not interested in removing the rubber stops, and I'm not interested in putting the pins in the middle of the hood.
