hey i installed a 4pt harness in my car and i was wondering if anyone know's if it legal to wear those instead of your normal seat belt, cuz on the box of mine it says for offroad use only.. so thats got me kinda just wondering, as of right now i dont wanna look like a freeking retard getting groceries with a 4pt harness so i just wear it @ the track.. but im just wondering.. and i have another little question, anyone got a link for how to get a wire from the battery through the firewall and into the interior, i need to power my amp, or should i go under and through the spare tire housing? any help would help.

i have mine mounted in the stock belt locations. the 2 lap belts where the old lap belts were and the shoulder belts in the lower/center rear seat belt mounts and the upper rear belt mounts

LOL, dude i see people with the 4pt on and im like " :thumb: NIIICE" i wish i could have a 4pt with my stock seats.

And I would say the exact same thing if I saw someone driving around with them here. I'd even tell myself that once I do get them in my car. I like the harnesses, there's just something about them. ;)

There is only one company (last I knew) that makes a street legal 4-5 pt. racing harness. The name eludes me at the moment, but it's not MOMO, Sparco, or any of the big names. There is a small folded section underneath a plastic sleeve up around your shoulders so that in the event of a crash your body is transferred forward rather than downward (the folded section unfolds and slightly lengthens the part around the shoulders, but only like an inch or something).

Those should be them.
