1g popup headlight question (lids down, lights on).

Ok before i start i did a search so before you start newbie bashing just send me the link that i need. thanks

OK so the button that makes the headlights flip up and down when the headlights are off. Is there away to make that button work even when the headlights are on so that you can make the beams come out of the front of the car with the headlights down? And still be able to bring them back up to get the full illumination when needed? Thanks I want to know if its possible before i start ripping apart my car.
