I got an idea in my head, let me know if I should proceed in doing so. I want to make the spare tire well into a box by simply cutting a single flat sheet of 3/4" MDF in the form of the opening and simply caulk the shit out of it and make it flush with the trunk. Would my 1 12" Memphis have enough air spare? Would this sound bad? After i do all that I'd cut a hole in the carpet so only my sub top would be visable and I'd add a pretty grill on top as well, whadda ya think?

that sounds pretty cool man, i was thing of doin the same thing w/ mine. it should sound good as long as your got at least an inch or so around the whole sub in the spare tire well. you dont want to hear and metal vibrations or anything, so if you wanted you could lay some of the dynomat stuff or insullation or whatever just to be safe, but sounds good man. later

I think it would have more than an inch all around, but the bottom may be tight im gonna go to measuring it out tomorrow. I also plan on using alot of that spray sound deadener stuff, in the well. I'd like a few others opinions, but I think this is a sleek idea
