I just got my kit in from visionautodynamics.com and everything looks like it's going to go on with a hitch until I got to the rear bumper. I bought the new tail lights for a 97 eclipse. What else do I need. The sides are hanging like an inch over on both sides and nothing lining up right. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO. there has to be something that I am doing wrong. It doesn't matter that my cars a talon does it? IF you've had experience with these kits please tell me what all I need to buy and what to do. Someone said I needed a eclipse impact bar for the bumper.

You don't need impact bar or bumper... your body kit may be molded wrong, I did Talon-> Eclipse and had an inch and half or so below the tail lights where it didnt fit right... the nature of body kits!

whats up......i did a talon to eclipse conversion and found that the rear bumper mounts are spot welded lower....i drilled out the spot welds, took the bumper and found out where to re mount the brackets and pop riveted them in....took maybe 45 min and now theres a stock sized gap round my taillights and people have no idea it was ever a talon.....if you have any questions or need details then pm me..good luck..

You will need to drill more holes for the center taillight, too. the spots for the holes are there, they were just never drilled. Takes all of five minutes.

Thats a good idea. Never thought of that. I bought L brackets and did it that way.
