I'm just wondering...what are all the things that will set off the stock alarm?? If the window breaks will it go off..?

If the car is unlocked from the inside while the alarm's on...stuff like that.

Just wondering if there's a list anywhere or if anybody knows all the things that will set it off.

I found out that if you open the trunk w/ the key while the alarms on it will go off..

Opening the hood, doors, or trunk will set it off, nothing else.

Jimwross, the trunk cylinder has a switch that should disarm the alarm when the key is turned, I would imagine yours is broken or disconnected.

Mine went wacky and turned on when I removed the door lock cylinder. But it went on like 5 minutes after I took it out. All I did to shut it off was open the passenger kick panel and unplug the alarm. Then plugged it back in once we got the new cylinder plugged in as well.

I could really care less about an alarm. But then again, I dont want to lose my baby
