2G Owners with 18" Wheels

I'm in the process of moving all my parts from my old non-turbo to my turbo 2G. I want to get my 18 Racing Hart C2's on, but don't have any of the suspension work done yet. Does anybody out there have any pics of any 2G's with stock suspension with either 17 or 18 inch wheels on? I wanna see how bad the wheel well gap is gonna be, or if I should just tough it out till next year to do the suspension. I feel pretty bad keeping those wheels off the car and not doing anything with them. If anybody has pics, that would be great!

i will lok for pics but i had hp hurricanes (knock off c2s) and the wheel gap was horrible. i think i could almost stick my head in between the tire and fender. :thumbdown

Yup.. it was horrible having 18's with no drop. I had i like that for maybe 3 months, and hated to drive looking like a bish. Heres a picture that shows off the lovely 3 foot gap

dude topple my stock rims and tires have double the gap than yours has.


i am getting 18" rims next month though, my freind has some on his GST and he did a eiback 1.5" drop and its just too low, so i might just leave it stock, unless it makes the gap higher.

but topple that gap isnt bad.

i got 19"s, and im a stock height. its looks aight, i think iam going to leave mine the way it is. my sig pic is without the motor in, thats why the front is so high.

Seems like some look HORRIBLE While some don't seem to bad. I know AWD and FWD had different wheel gaps but some cars seem to really have a hell of a bad gap. Heres some pics of cars
NONE OF THESE ARE MINE, not sure where i got them but helped justify to my friend that increased rim size makes fender gap LOOK bigger
