just wanted to say the automatic start works fine and everything else is good to.but i have one more question.which is the wires that sense the door is open or closed,my locks work but this says there are wires for that and i need those bad.and also are you sure with the horn wire?i tried all i found and the horn never worked.ill keep trying though,3 times a charm ;) thanks :dsm:

thats just the wiring diagram i found online for your car...not much more help then that...sorry

I'm not completely sure what you are asking when the door open wire is concerned. On my alarm, it was just sensing for ground. On the driver side of the car, there are two wires coming off of the switch by the back quarter panel. I think one of them was yellow, possibly striped, and the other was green and red i think. Anyways, figure out which one of these wires is grounded when any of the doors are open, including the trunk. Tap into that wire, and you should have a ground when any door is open.

The other thing with the horn is that the alarm could be putting out either ground or positive, make sure you know which it is putting out by testing it with a multimeter. then you have to figure out how the horn works. I believe there is a positive wire hooked to the steering wheel ONLY WHEN THE IGNITION IS TURNED ON and this wire is grounded by pushing the horn button. In this case, your horn will not work without the key (if this is what you are referring to)

I also have a wiring diagram that I used on my 1st gen alarm install, so if you need specifics, PM me and I can let you know or possibly take some pictures of the diagrams that you need.

Hope that helps

alright i got it all installed thank you guys for everything and for anyone who does it the wire i was looking for on the door is green/red close to hood release.thanks
