2G Power seats in a car with no power seats

Is it possible/reasonable to put power DSM seats in a DSM with no power seats? If so, how much work is it?

not for sure, but it seems all it would take is all the hardware from the power seats, (rails, seats, wires). Just find a power source and ground and it will probably work.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the cars without the power seats still have the plug under the carpet, so maybe all you need are the power seats... Wonder who could sell you a pair.

I have the plug but don't have the power seats, how crappy is that.

Its possible, and simple. I gave my power seats to my cousin with a esi. He managed to supple power and ground with an inline fuse and he's set. That easy.as long as plug is there.

Yeah, there is a plug there...I just figured that it was for something else though. But that is quite nice!

Now to find power seats!

Even there is not a plug all the seat does is take a constant 12v supply, all the motors and switches are inside the seat, so just run a 12v to it if you dont have it.
