Alarm went out...Power door locks went out...WTF?

It just happened one day, I got out, put the key in the hole and turned it and the pass. side door lock did not lock. I kept turning it.......and nothing.

So, I went all the way around the car and locked it. Then, I noticed the "security" light was not blinking. I thought to myself.... "what the motha freaking hell!?"

Since my area of expertise isn't electronics, I thought I would ask my fellow DSMers if they have come across this same dilema ( No, not the Nelly and Kelly dilema).

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Did you accidently hit the alarm kill switch?? it should be under the dash somewhere. On my second gen talon its on the drivers side kick panel. How this was of any help at all. While kinda on the topic does anyone have the code to program your alarm i know i have seen it once and i thought i bookmarked it i tried searching but no use. I know you keep the door open the turn the key and push and hold 1st button or something amung those lines any help would be great. thanks

I'm having the same problem in my 90 gsx. Alarm, power door locks, and horn(might be seperate issue) do not work anymore for some reason. I went under and checked all the fuses even the larger relay looking fuses which is supposed to control the security/alarm and it looks fine i don't really just want to start replacing that as just that one fuse/relay is like 23$ from dealer special order too. Can't pinpoint it I'm wondering maybe if any of those systems have direct wires to the alternator or where a wire could be going bad or maybe there is a fuse i haven't checked. Any suggestions?
