Locks question

Ok my driver side power lock has taken a shit and quite frankly, i dont like power locks or windows. My keyless doesnt work and now neither does the lock, so basically id like to convert it to a manual locking system. Doesnt need to be on both sides, just the drivers side. Any info on how to do this. Thanks

pull the door panel off, detach the connector that goes to the lock/unlock/window switche s and cut the door lock and unlock wires. One is Brown, the other is Brown and White.
