hey members..

been looking aournd and researching on "Racing Seats" and found lots of great information, knowing that if you get a set.. remember that the silders need them brackets too.. hehe.. but anyway..

i think many of us here.. would LOVE to SEE YOUR SEATS!.. so if you all can..

:thumb: PLEASE POST YOUR SEATS :thumb: and lets us in on any problems...

1) installation - rating 1-5 (1=easiest 5=hardest)
2) problems - list them if you can.

and THANKS to those who post their seat.. be proud of what seats you have, show them. :thumb:

Got mine a while back, my brother that it would be a good idea to get the race buckets and not get the sliders for them. He try installing them on stock brackets which is not the smartest idea  so now the seats don't slide at all, I would give my seats a 5 :thumbdown just for the fact that they did not come with the sliders.

In my case my stock sliders and brackets are history as they were all rusty. I ended up strapping the drivers seat and pulling it out with my SUV so I will have to go to a welding shop to fix the bases on the chasis.

What kind of seats are those?

Are those the Milano's or the Torino's? What steering wheel is that? What did you use to do do your door panel's? Was it red vinyl?

Those I believe are the Sparco Roadsters.
This is indeed a very good thread, because seats are next on my list of things to get for my car. I know Sparco makes sliders for the 95-99 Eclipse, but how easy are they to install?

Oh, sorry that isn't my car. I just saw it earlier when I opened the gallery.

Here is a Sparco Rev: http://www.dsmtuners.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=32764&password=0&sort=1&cat=504&page=2

Just go to the gallery and look through the Interior pics. Then when you see something you like you can email or PM them. Looks like most people aren't going to post theirs on here willingly. ;)

Just found this thread also:

Looks like some of what you are looking for.

Here is some info on installing the Sparcos/sliders:

Corbeau CR1s. I'd rate them at 3 for the install. The brackets needed light modification, then there is little working room to mount them. They are comfortable once you break them in.

Me?

I just bought the Sparco Seat Mounts that they make for 2G DSM's.

My only complaint about the seats is - I was going to install a 6 point cage in my car but the Seats interfear with the Swing outs. (well them and the actaul door panel itself.

So I'd probably have to figure something out if I ever wanted to put in the swing outs.

In my case my original bases are shot... as they are all rusty and I will probably end up having to ask the body shop to weld in new bases and contain the rust on those original bases on the floor chasis.

Most "Name brand" Aftermarket seats don't come with sliders you have to buy them seperate.

I thought they usually come with sliders but not brackets? At least that's how my tenzo R rally types were in my old car. Anwyays, in the gsx I am keeping the stock seats ... nothing like power and leather ... and comfort ;)
