I thought I'd share this, it looks pretty interesting... not too bad IMO. From what I know, it's not the NX widebody kit, but rather some custom work that was done before the NX kit came out.

Side skirts don't match with the vents, It's like too many vents.

that guys car is on car domain, i remeber seeing it. it looks like complete ass.. i dont see how those HUGE nsx stlye vents can look good? and like whats with peoples custom widebodies? is it SO hard to flow it with the nautrual lines of a car, then to just randomly add fiberglass until it sticks out for a "widebody" . then again, i just hate NSX's and that UGLY ASS nsx widebody importfan decided they so badly needed to make. god damn, i mean i ever LIKE bodykits! and the wide bodys along with some regular kits, along with some custom work - like that, just looks awful. i wish they would let me to a kit for a widebodied 2g. everyone and their mom would have them, thast how pimp i would make it, no joke either :thumb:

I can see how you wouldn't like it tunerkid... but like I said, i just thought it looked interesting, and the work was done well/not too bad. However, I agree with the fact that it doesn't flow with the car at all, it's like the car just kinda "sharpened up" all of a sudden from all the roundness and smooth lines. But, like I always say, to each his own. He did what he thought looked good on his car, and I give him props for that.

Also, as a side note, if I had the money to make my own widebody, I would make a kit that more closely resembled a 360 Modena as opposed to an NSX. Nice rounded look, that I think would match the Eclipse nicely... hehehe Especially the rear fenders/quarter panels and the front bumper.

haha, thats kinda funny because im going to school next year for architecture at Un. of. Pitt.. so thats almost like engineering, and so sorry i can understand the concept of flowing lines and things that match up ;) if i made a wide kit, even you would want one :D

But then you have to remember, everyone has a different idea of what looks good... If everyone could make their own body kits, we all would. I know I would :thumb:

I'm a graphic artist (2d/3d) and am going to school for that ( 2 more years until i get my bachelors... man I hate school...) So I can see where you're coming from. But like i said, everyone has their own opinions, I've seen some kits that I think look like ass, but other people are head over heels in love with, like the Bomex....

Actually tunerkid, if you want to gather together some ideas, maybe we could gather up some people and actually get one made :thumb: (hey, it doesn't hurt to hope/try does it? ) I've seen lots of people make their own custom body kits after learning a little fiberglass, in fact, I think there's a guy on here with a completely custom made front bumper on his red 1G, can't remember his name though. Just need some elbow grease....:\

Agreed. It's not mid engine, It doesn't need a million vents back there. Maybe one on each side that actually channels air into the brakes, but thats it.

I still think fiberglass would help more on the underside, but that's a whole different story.
