Filter element? My car smells funky whenever it rains or when in car washes.

Seriously, it smells messed up. It happens in the rain or in car washes when I put the fan on. What the heck is it. The carpet has been pro cleaned. Do our cars have some sort of filter for the air coming in?

No filter, but the condensation pan under the AC evaporator probably could use a good cleaning. Or, a rinse with a bit of diluted Chlorox.
