Has anyone managed to install Sparco seats in a 1gA? What advice?

I already have a pair of Monzas with the necessary brackets, but I've temporarily given up after realizing that it would take some fab work to keep the stock passive restraint seatbelts.

Junk that stupid POS auto belt crap.

i have a sparco speed, and just got sparco harnesses. The upper harness converts to one single one, then i bolted that to my rear stock belt, so far has done a damn good job of holding me in and still allowing me to move around the car:thumb:

Right on. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, it might be time to jetison the stock choker belts. You bolted the harness to the backseat shoulder belt housing, right? Is their much of an angle to the seat?

yea, I say junk the auto belts, and put in 4 or 5 point harnesses

btw how much did both of those seats run you?

I'm looking at Corbeau CR-1s now

MSRP for the seats is $729 each. Add another $300 to the total for sliders, brackets, and hardware. After shipping and taxes, I paid $1,660, but I had to call in a favor to get that deal. Still, too much money spent for this frustration.
