I'm just wondering. I see a lot of CF hoods on imports an am just wondering if you get any performance gains or not. I know their lighter and lighter means better, but is worth it. Will your really be a smuch faster or are they just for looks?

don't expect a noticeable performance increase. if you're gonna do it, do it cuz you like the way it looks...

Oh,well then I'm not going to do it. I'm not really into the cf hood thing,I just figured if it would help me performancewise. I don't like the way they seem to hide the bubble on the hood.:dsm:

well those cool vent ones like that on the NSX type r is bad azz, and those vents cool the engine more i would imaigine, but the also does the rain that falls in... personaly if i had money to burn i would get one and probly paint it.. other wise its just bling bling

Well, I am getting the VIS invador carbon fiber hood for one reason, to allow hot air to escape the engine bay, and since it is lighter it is a added bonus. When you install a header the engine bay temp gets hotter therefore losing HP, vent in hood should help that alot.

just my 2 cents

-Not it won't cool the engine, why? b/c the NSX's engine is in the back.
