Supra Tailights on a 1g

has anyone ver seen supra tailights on a 1g and how hard do u think it would be to make it look good?

wow i am really getting sick of people on this forum all i asked is if anyone has seen it not for everyone to ####ing freak out about it... first off i dont give a shit what everyone thinks about it if i saw a pic and i liked it it was something i might consider not what the #### everyone else thought about it i like supra tailights i am not trying to make my car look like i supra i like the way they look and i asked how hard it would be to make them fit in ....

Sorry. Some of my steam came from another thread.

However, if you really don't give a shit what others think... then go for it. It's your car. Whether you like it or not is all that matters.

Looking at the rear of the car and the shape of the tailights, it's pretty obvious that you'd have to do a lot of grafting and form new sheet metal to make it work. Sure it can be done... it's more of a matter of how deep your bank account is.

well he also didnt say what year supra taillights...these are off an older model, and they wouldnt look to bad if they lined up anywhere sorta close to this...(the others would look bad, trust me) but i did this real quick in photoshop...

Those mkIII tail-lights dont look bad at all.

MkIV's would look absolutely terrible.

i just wanted to know if anyone has seen it before if u havnt i didnt want your opinion and i was considering it if i could find a pic thats it i dont see y everyone has to say something looks like crap or critisize everything someone says i thank people for responding but i just wanted a pic no one needs to fight over it i think that is so dumb when everyone freaks out

you're not going to find a pic of someone who fabbed mkIV tails into a 1g.

No one is anywhere near that dumb. But my advice is to PS some on. It'll give you an idea.

Personally, those mkIII tails look pretty good in there.

Why don't you try skyline taillights? Those seem to fit the body lines pretty well, while still adding a more modern look to the car.

Taboo Speed Shop was going to make some sort of skyline conversion kit but it's been on hold forever. Maybe you can bug them.

Ebay sells the taillights all the time, and I think they look great on the 1G body (minus that wing of course).

Just whatever you do, please don't "do two little circles". You're only going to end up ruining a perfectly good pair of taillights.
