Can you install a 96-98 Radio in a 1991 Eagle Talon?

Thanks Airpoppoff. The reason I asked is because I can get it cheap from a junkyard and I have the original 1991 Radio with the cassette and 9 equalizers or such, but it has a mind of its own. It goes up and down (volume) even if I don't press the volume buttons. I want to swap it out for a radio from a 98 in the junkyard.

If it is the Infinity can you custom wire it? If you know tell me. Thanks again.:talon:

You can get both ends of the adapter (car side/radio side) from online sources and wire them together. Please use this method instead of cutting the car's harness.

You may need the security code for a 2G radio.

:p You may have point man....... I just saw this unit in a Junkyard out of a wrecked 1998 GS and it would only cost $40 but how much trouble + money would the right wiring harness be..... I may just go up to Circuit City and get a receiver but it won't be Double Din for $100. All Double DIN CD/Cassette units cost $300 and up!:talon:

Well I know the sticker on my window says something like, radio will not work if removed. And Defiant said something about a security code.
