Finally I have aquired some OEM style tail lights from an eclipse, $80 shipped. But, the lights are going on an eagle talon, is anything on the frame (rear end) of the car different. Will the gaskets and attachments fit into place?

They will fit provided you have an eclipse style rear bumper.

Many people have done an eclipse comversion.

The lights will fit just like it was an eclipse to begin with, but the bumper will need some welding custom brackets,etc........ The eclipse rear doersnt bolt up to the talon rear bumper supports they are 3 inches to low.

I got to go take a look. Its at the body shop now, but moving thiose brackets arent easy . they are welded on. .
also i was thinking . Cant the 97-99 rear bumper brackets be orbered from dealer ? Then we could just drill and bolt them on.

I would love to get a 98 eclipse rear, but my problem is that the rear bumper I have now is molded to the body. The lines are still there but I'm wondering how I would get that off.

^^^^^^^^ LOOKS LIKE YOUR BUMPER IS SAGGING A BIT IN THE MIDDLE HOW DID YOU PUT IT ON.?

I've done the conversion.

You don't need Oem Brackets, just use L shaped metal brackets from the hardware store, the holes are marked, you just have to drill, the stock talon bracks dont even need to be cut off, the fit under the rear cover.

Your bodykit, it doesn't fit right, I had hte same problem with one of mine.

Actually it's sagging on the right side, but thats because it's a fiberglass bumper  and the body shop did an absolute horrible job putting it on. Also, this car has been hit on the right side.
