i have used the compound thing for about 2 months...
its getting aggrivating so im thinking about buying projectors...

DON'T use 160grit. Use 1500-2000 grit. Its the same principal as wet sanding paint. It does work!!! It actually works very well but after you wet sand you have to polish them with a buffer. It's the only way you will get them really clean!! Its the easiest if you do remove them! ;)

Have fun, Steve.

Go get some Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish from Autozone or wherever you get #@%#@%#@%#@%. Just put it on like wax and buff it. Do it a few times and it works great.

Im pretty sure my headlights are fogged on the inside because ive shined the front of them to hell and there still isnt much of a result. If you guys have any remedies for this please tell me.

Are they "fogged" as in condensation? Cuz that can be cured in a nu,ber of ways depending on your actual problem. Most common is that your vent tube is plugged (there's a little rubber hose that allows for pressure equalization and escape of condensation out of the headlight assembly, it can get clogged and you just need to clean it out). If you clean that and then use a hair dryer to dry out the condensation, you should be set.

If it's actually discolored inside, you gotta take the sucker apart (not fun) and sand it out. Axe someone else's advice on that, I have no experience with the DSMs on that one.

hey, my headlights are fogged on my 1g also. how do u get the lens off to clean them though, i have heard u put it in the oven to melt the sealent but what kind of sealer do u use to put it back together????
