Florida/Cali,
having problums installing this alarm tl800 from autoloc.com...directions have elec/locks but no instructions for with out it...so if anyone has did there own install give me some pointers...how did you hook your relay up to the ignition?

uh, all the wires should be the same dude. You just can't have keyless entry. THat would be the ONLY difference.

alright i got the alarm somewhat working..it is wired to pop the (shaved) doors open which it is doing fine sorda...the problum i am having now is the alarm will arm after 3 mins no matter what even if the car is running...so the alarm will go off while im drivin...is it cause the ignition part isnt wired yet?...having some problums on how to hook it up to the ignition..the damn thing didnt come with directions for a car w/o electric locks only a scamatic(and that dont really help)...so i have all these wires left over and am like what the hell do i do with them...anyone have any suggestions that have installed their own alarm...also how did you hook the parking lights up, relay?

If you don't have electric locks then just ignore that section of the install.

Don't worry if you don't use all the wires. My remote start/alarm sytem came with a 21 pin harness, and I ended up only using 7 or 8 of the wires. Just cap off the wires for the electric locks, cause you won't need them.

As for the alarm problem, check your systems settings and disable the "automatic re-arming" feature. This should be in the instructions.

Hope this helps you out.

its because you don't have the ignition wire hooked up....wire it to something that gets 12 volts while the car is running and shuts off when you turn the car off
