I am almost finished with this thing. It sits in the curved section of the trunk. It houses a PPI PRO 12 and 2 XTANT amps.

We cut the speaker hole, mounted the top, and back last night. Tonight I hope to seal the enclosure section and start to mount the amps.

I just need to figure out if I should carpet it or just put a skin of carbon fiber over it

that thing is huge! well i'd rather put carpet then c.f., by the way when it's done post pics!

It's not light, but for it's size it isn't bad. The sections with the curves on them is dead space, but I wanted it to fit well.

Lots of views no response. I guess not many people like it.

Everything is in. I got impatient and had to install it. It sounds pretty good. I screwed up putting the t-clamp bolts (or whatever they are called) I didn't have enough meat around the speaker so when I drilled the holes I notched the MDF instead. That really pissed me off since it was the last step. I had to silicone the speaker in place more than I wanted (not happy about that). When I take it out to carpet i'll add some ployfill too. Speaking of carpet, does anyone know where I can get some of the SAME carpet that is in the trunk?
