audio, head-unit installation

i took out the old radio to see what kind of connection id have to install for my aftermarket radio, and saw that there is no wiring harness, this means ill have to match up color for color and tie in the wires myself right???...is there anything i should know about before i go and do this...????

pretty much, youre better off wit ha manual so u know what wire is what, if not, youre goin to be sittin there forever poking and trying combinations for like 2 hours

I can fax you the copies out of the manual that contain the wiring diagram. Let me know. There are quite a few but it isn't so bad, just like 6-8 main ones really, the aftermarket should have a diagram and trail by error is fun as long as you arent popping fuses or shorting stuff out
