Is there anything wrong with your taillights??? I doubt it, so keep them. And you say you don't have money, so you go and waste what you have on something you don't need, instead of saving it for a turbo or something towards performance. I am dumbfounded

What's with this JDM stuff? All DSMs were built in Normal, Illinois, and were only sold in North America AFAIK. Europe, Japan, Australia, and everywhere else had the Evo, so they didn't need DSMs, other than the Galant VR-4. People are just putting "JDM" in front of their eBay garbage to make it sell.

I also find it funny that almost all imports try to remove the amber from their taillights, and the Eclipse has no amber stock, so people try to add it

Yea. they make "JDM" tail lights for the 2G.. I think MachV had them on their site for a while. but they were $500 bucks.. i dont think it is really worth it. $500 can get you a lot better stuff than just tail lights

They only have the Eclipse Spyder in Japan and they got them by importing them from USA. They are LHD, or converted to RHD...not too sure. Those so called "JDM" taillights that you saw on ebay is from europe. Don't trust what ever they claim they are selling you on ebay. They are just trying to punk you. If you want to go "JDM", you could either get a sypder or just keep what you have cause all the "JDM" parts from the Japanese Eclipse is on your car right now.

oh my fault then, a bunch of people were saying yea get JDM taillights...and i was like ok whats that. yesterday i saw them on the eclipse on f&f so forget i even brought it up. the only reason i thought to buy them was cause ive never seen anyone with them, and the guy was selling them for like 20 bucks

I think Blk95gs is on the right track in his last post. Most people that
modify their cars are not after the typical, or most popular look .. but
rather want a look to their car that sets them apart from others.
Otherwise we would all keep out cars relatively stock - at least that is
my thinking.

As for the honda guys going for all red tail lights, if they came stock in
all red then some would probably want amber in their signals too. I
remember when the civic si models came out, they had the red/white
tail light which I love on the car ... but people still chose to pull those
off and replace the with the altezza lights - why, to be unique. I can't
say it enough, and it can be confirmed by looking at the gallery, we want
our cars to be unique...

So, if Blk95gs is after what we are calling JDM tail lights ... give him your
opinion and move forward.

Note, if someone finds some at a decent price let me know ... I have
yet to see them in AZ. And if I were to get them, they would tie in my
amber bumper lenses ... and I would be unique.
