with the rebuild i will be upgrading the head, main, and rod bolts to arp.
the pistons that are in it are from a evo and i hope i can reuse them, but i will not find that out untill i get the motor out. so wish me luck LOL

Reason I ask is I have a nice set of 4 piston calipers that would look great on that galant

92 3000 gt vr4 and yes i have the brackets, it came with the car, and im not sure if i am going to use them or not, only thing needed is the vr4 rotors.

Well a little bit of a update, looks like i will be having more of a built motor then i thought. it turns out they have ordered me eagle Rods and JE Pistons. when i thought i was getting oem replacment type stuff. my block was also on the boring machine so i think i will have my motor back to me here with in a few days. then come assembely, im hoping the car should be up and running with in a couple weeks.

also i will not be using the VR4 calipers if you do what them sharobious!

B&L engine in wasilla, worst experiance ever never take anything to them. ADB is where i will go from now on

I was looking for a Machine shop in wasilla. I will be needing my head resurfaced soon. So you would recommend ADB ?

I would also reccomend A/C Machine in Chugiak. I've taken a few heads there as well as a short block. They've done a lot of 4G63 stuff. Know Nick at Underground used to use them also mostly because little quicker and still good work. ADB is probably the best, but could take awhile and they aren't the cheapest around. Just thought I'd mention them as a choice, plus there closer to you if still in Wasilla. Birchwood Spur

Not sure if he would or not but I'm sure they could do it for you easy enough if just give them the write up on it which can be found many places. Thats what I did when I had them put 2G pistons on my 1G rods for my engine. Just gave him them copy of specifications when dropped the stuff off, they did it no problem.
