I've been looking around since I got my 91 TSI AWD, and I cannot locate an AWD DYNO. Do they exist up here? I just moved up from Iowa, so I'm fairly new to the area. Any help would be awesome, i'de like to get a base report off a dyno before I really tear into this build.

There isn't an AWD dyno in Alaska. Hale's is only 2WD. There has though been talk the Seth for P3ia in the Valley is working on getting an AWD dyno, and also a guy up in Fairbanks is working on getting one as well.

I know it's not the same but can't you run an AWD as FWD temporarily for a dyno

Okay, so there isn't an awd dyno in AK yet. Was just curious, i've seen quite a few people in the pacific northwest with awd cars and their Whp and torque.

I'm going to grave dig this ancient thread of mine, Any updates on those two places getting AWD Dyno's? As a last resort i'm just going to go down to Lucas English and have him wave his magic wand =p

You can go to the dyno company's site and they have maps of everyone who has their dynos and what kind they are. I searched for an AWD dyno a month ago and couldn't find one north of Vancouver.

That shop in Palmer went under. As of right now, there still isn't an AWD dyno here in Alaska. Also if ppl didn't know already the 2WD dyno that Hales had was sold to Fast Times. But the new rumor is Fast Times sold the dyno to a buyer out of state.

Its been so long since the last time I logged onto tooners, that I've been downgraded to Probationary Member even though I paid to be a Supporting Member. LOL My gvr4 is gone...sadly...but I have a 2011 Mazdaspeed 3, 1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo II, and an 2008 Yamaha R6S.

Found out today that Underground has bought the dyno that was originally at Hales, and will be upgrading it to a AWD one in the future.
