Hawaii DSMs???
Im currently stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. My GST will be here in November... anyone else out here with me? Or am I all alone??

Well hey,..I guess I'm the 4th. My wife just currently got me a GSX and I'm totally excited. I had a n/t eclipse for over 5 yrs., and the wifey thought i should upgrade. I'm also deployed right now, but will return in mid july. I'm pretty new to the turbo world, but am hoping to find others out there that can help me learn and show me some good shops out here that will not rip me off

yeah it is! im in pearl harbor, but mine stays parked for the most part due to some sort of fuel issue. i drive my STi or SRT4 on the daily. You guys should come out to the meets! Friday and Saturday night at the big NEX in Pearl Harbor. I typically show up around 10 =]

I'm on Kauai with 2 gst's and pretty much know all the other dsm guys on our island. Which isn't very many lol. Anybody need help or where to get some parts just ask. I've been working on dsm's for like 15 years.

I usually go out on Fridays, meet up with the other DSMs by Jack's. Couple weeks ago I saw 1 clean ass white 1g, 3-4 2gs on the cruise, was shocked to see that much in one place lol.

military usually gets one car shipped free, but its like $700-$1500 to ship a car here
yeah DSMs are a rare breed here on Oahu, mostly hondas and what not, but on the weekends we meet up at the NEx and hangout..the honda crew usually sits up at the Mcds next to the strip mall, and the higher priced cars hangout at the NEx usually 10pm-??? on Fridays and Saturdays. Im a c-17 crew chief on hickam, came from the b-1 bomber in Ellsworth back in may, been in 5 years...

I had my white GST out Friday night over on the NEX side, then I brought the STi out Saturday. I'll be out Friday night this week but I have to work Saturday night. If you guys want to get a decent DSM group together, let me know and Ill have the wife bring out the Eclipse....

His Name is Jared Taylor E-4. He drives a silver 04 STi. All stock except for a turbo back exhaust. When he was still in Germany we had the ECU re-flashed with his cobbtuning access port but i believe he re-flashed it back to stock for Hawaii.

sorry, just now got around to checking back on this post, i can't remember when, it was a week or two before the post i think, but it was like 3 2g's and a couple 1g's i think... ive heard about the meet up at the NEX, unfortunately it is a little late, i am married with two kids, so it restricts my schedule slightly. if there was a meet up during the weekend daytime hours or so, i would certainly be interested, ill pay closer attention to this thread...

Wow there has been quite a bit of activity since the last time I checked in here. Glad to see a few more DSM's!!
Mines been down for a bit though next due to the turbo taking a crap...the good news is that now its time to go bigger. I have a nice Forced Preformance 37R on the way and a bunch of other things to get it going once again. Once its up and going I will def come to the meets
