sorry for posting another message but i have rod knock and have the money to buy a block right away and was just wondering if anyone has purchased one from vtengines.com.thanks,and if they had any problems with them.

I can't speak for quality. I've not heard good or bad about their products.

But I do think they are very overpriced on some machine work. I called about getting several (5) heads rebuilt and their quote was $100/head more than a shop close to me.

vtengines price on a built block was $400.00 dollers cheaper than howell performance. those are the only two web sites i have been able to find.
