Security Light

Does anyone else notice this? When I lock my doors the little green security light goes on. However, it only stays on for about a minute or so before it turns off. Is this a problem, not that I care, but it seems kind of ridiculous to have a security light that only goes on for the time it takes you to get out of the car. Like we won't notice that it turns off because we're not in the car anymore. Anyone?

Not a problem. They all do that. It is just telling you that the system is armed.

Cool, I just think it's stupid to have it on for a minute, it might as well be on the whole time the system is armed as a deterrent.
