420A Neon/Eclipse tranny swap

i need to know if a neon 5spd tranny will fit 96 420a eclipse. The neon has the 2.0 motor but the valve cover isnt the same as mine.

I can't tell you for sure wether the tranny will fit or not, but I can tell you that the valve cover has absolutely nothing to do with wether the tranny will bolt up to your car.

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say no.

yeah i really didnt think the valve cover had ne thing to do with it, i just didnt know if there was a different style 2.0 block and i figured if that was the case then the tranny ###### wouldnt fit. i thought i read a forum somewhere saying that the tranny's could be swapped and that the neon trannys had a taller 5th gear which was the reason for the swap, but i dunno.
