BOOST IS COMING!!!! Have some ????'s

I just purchased a star stage 2 and i have a couple of questions. 1st. I will be taking my eclipse for a small road trip around june. It will be around 800-1000 miles which will be covered in around 3 days. Will there be any issued with a 420a motor boosted for that much strait driving. Obviously I wont be hitting full boost that whole time so.......? 2nd. When drilling into the oil pan to run the oil line from the turbo, any suggestions on the best way to do it? Location? Etc. I already have a missing link, and all the necessary gauges. I dont plan on running any more than 8psi till I can afford a forged bottom end, so will a boost controller be necessary(wastegate is already set at 8). And any suggestions or recomendations on a turbo timer? Thanks in advance for any help given.

Either search on here for sure on 2gnt about where to tap the pan. It would probably be easier for you just look at the pictures and angles.

You shouldn't have any problems covering that distance while turbo, just keep boost at a safe level. As for the oil pan, I took mine off and had a metal tube extension welded onto the pan itself, and the hose connects to this extension. It was cheap and the hose slides right over the extension perfectly.

If you do it to low oil wil come up the return tube and that is not good.

The Hahn instructions have the best place for the hole.

As for the long trip i would recommend installing a big sound system to block out that damn fuel pump

I am actually going to dynamat the entire rear of the car including the fuel pump cover. I will have a little cutout so i can still access it, but it will be covered. Do you think that would even help?
