I'm looking at the HRC Stage II kit & I was wondering if you can keep your driving lights with their FMIC. If anyone has the HRC Stage II with Hahn's FMIC please let me know.

Also, if you ordered the Stage II with the FMIC, does the SMIC still come with it? Thanks.

keep your driving lights??? um do you mean like foglights or headlights? Ill answer both....

You CAN keep your headlights.

and the foglights....not sure but most people remove them to get more flow to the inercooler. I would say you can keep them tho.

Also, the star stage 2 kit does not come with a smic, check ebay, they have a ton for sale for really cheap.

I didn't mean to confuse you with the term "driving lights". Of course I know that I can keep my headlights. I didn't just buy my first car this past weekend. It sounds like you're trying to insult my intelligence, however minimal on this subject, when you don't even know what driving lights are.

I was also wondering if someone HAS the Hahn Stage II setup that I am asking about so they can answer my question with facts. I want to keep my driving lights so the exterior will look stock, and I don't want to put $400 down if they've got to go. For you to tell me that you "think I can keep them" is not an answer. Also my initial post is calling for the HRC (Hahn RaceCraft) turbo setup where the Stage II DOES come with an intercooler. That's the difference between the Stage I & II. However, when you order the Hahn Stage II (which does come with a SMIC) and you also purchase the FMIC at the same time, does the SMIC still come with it.

If nobody knows that's cool. I can call Hahn on Monday. I was just wondering if someone knew for sure.

Yes or no. If you buy the FMIC as an upgrade for the stage 2 kit then you get a discounted price for it so the SMIC is not included. If you buy the FMIC outright then yes the SMIC would still come with it. As for the foglights I wouldd say prolly not with there FMIC there is some bumper trimming required to fit that FMIC. So I can not say I am 100% sure but I highly doubt it. As for the stock look the FMIC will pretty much ruin that anyway. And BTW what's with the attitude brother? We're all here for the same reason, just chill out a little bit.

I really don't have an attitude on this.

My philosophy is this. If I KNOW an answer to someones question, I'll answer it. If I don't, why waste peoples time with a post that is not a feasible option to helping someone.

Like if someone posts "Looking for white Eclipses with gunmetal rims", and someone else posts "I don't have gunmetal rims, but I've got a white Eclipse". For people or that person that is actually looking for pertinent information, the person that replied just wasted someones time, and it leaves the initial post open to go off on a tangent where the question may not even be answered. Follow me, that's just an example.

Don't get me wrong. There is A LOT of useful information on this site. And there are A LOT of intelligent people posting within this site. But I think that sometimes people need to look at their replies, based on the initial question or concern, and ask themselves, "Is this really helping the person".

The answer that you gave me has pertinent information in it, and I can use it. But for Eclipse 96Ryder to tell me that I can keep my headlights… c'mon. I actually laughed when I read the post because how many RS/GS turbos have engine bay shots in their galleries. And they ALL have their headlights! If anyone has looked at kits it's kind of a no brainer, that's all. Plus, can you tell me which information on Eclipse96Ryder reply did help me? …Exactly. I know that we're all here for the same reason, we're also all here to get answers to our questions. You helped me with my question and I appreciate that, thanks.

if ur only getting the stage 2 kit, then why are u even considering getting the fmic. its a waste of money. The front mount is only useful of applications of at least 350 hp. Up until that point no hp gains will be seen. You can even call the hahn tech line and ask them straight up, and theyll tell you the same thing.

yup, a fmic for a stage 2 without internals is pointless... you'd probably suffer more from the pressure drop across that big of a fmic running low boost.

But as everyone has been telling you, fogs stay, lights stay, facia of the bumper gets trimmed.
