I just installed a turbo kit on my GS not too long ago and I just got around to installing the fuel pressure gauge. The base pressure is almost 90psi, which sounds outrageous from what I've been reading.
I'm running the Vortech SFMU, and when I adjust it, the pressure does not change at all. What is the deal here?

Yeah, I belive its supposed to idle at around 42 or so, and go up to around 100 at 8psi. But as it is now, it's idling at 90psi and it doesn't adjust to boost. It stays around 90. I don't understand what the problem is.

You aren't still using your stock fpr are you? If so that might be why it's not adjusting. I have my SFMU set up for stand-alone.

Ok, I did not get around to getting the fuel pressure regulator. I really need help with this problem. If someone with the SFMU installed could PLEASE help me, I'm going insane. Here is EXACTLY how everything is.

STOCK PRESSURE REGULATOR IS STILL ON THE RAIL. DISCONNECTED VACUUM LINE

Fuel return line spliced and T'd goign to fuel pressure gauge, and side of SFMU

Line running from bottom of SFMU back to fuel tank

vacuum line directly from intake to vacuum connection on fmu

My only thoughts are that it could be the SFMU itself, OR the fact that the stock fuel pressure regulator is still on the rail. Should I remove the regulator and put on a cap?
