16G Turbo Conversion Started.

Well since my harmonic dampener went on my car, and some other problems started. I decided what a good time to start on my conversion. I have everything to start and complete besides a date logger/pocketlogger, SAFC, and a boost controller. Those will be orderd shortly. My motor is half way out anyway due to my harmonic dampener being replaced. I was going to go with Buschur's complete UDP harmonic dampener kit. But I got the stock replacement. Wish me all luck. Due to lack of funds right now it will take longer than expected. Whats new its a DSM

Does anybody know why I am running super freakin rich? BTW: Im at 10 psi. 12 psi when im feeling crazy. I want to go higher but I cant afford anything to break. Im already in the hole a couple g's

Oh if some of you dont know, Im already done with it. Its pulls like a mother! Just like all the other N/T to Turbo guys say But I cant get shit for traction. Look for my thread in the Hangout about my 16G completion.

How do you know you are running super rich?

I really dont know how I am running rich. Mostly all black smoke puffs out of my exhaust. Then later alot of white smoke. So I really dont have a clue whats going on. Im guessing my N/T pistons cant hold the boost so im burning loads of oil or what. At around 6600rpms I lean out alot, no power at all, and it bogs. What could cause that?

Get a datalogger and make sure you aren't knocking. White smoke is coolant and black/blue smoke is oil. Coulda blown a head gasket.
